By proceeding with a booking and making any payments, you (the "Hirer") agree to the Terms and Conditions below. These conditions are designed to protect both parties and ensure a safe, smooth, and fun experience.
1. Booking and Payment

A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.

Full payment must be made no later than 7 days before your event.

A $200 bond is payable 24 hours before your event. This will be refunded within 48 hours of pickup, provided there is:
-
No damage to equipment (e.g. rips, tears, broken parts),
-
No excessive mess or staining,
-
All ball pit balls are returned to the ball pit,
-
Punctual return (for DIY customers).

2. Damages, Cleaning, and Bond Forfeiture

All equipment is checked before and after use.
-
The Hirer is responsible for any damage or loss occurring during the hire period.

Bond may be partially or fully retained if:
-
Equipment is returned damaged, stained, or excessively dirty,
-
Ball pit balls are not returned to the pit,
-
Items are returned late,
-
Drop-off/pick-up arrangements are changed last minute without agreement.

Any damages to our backdrops or floral installations will incur a replacement fee if deemed unusable again, Prices including shipping will be provided by our supplier which hirer will need to pay. Photo's of before and after installations will be taken.

Additional fees may be charged on top of the bond if damage exceeds the bond amount.
3. Equipment Use and Safety

No shoes, high heels, food, drinks, toys, sharp objects, glitter, sand, paint, or sticky substances allowed on soft play or jumping castles.

Equipment must not be moved once set up.
-
Adult supervision is required at all times.
-
Jumping castle use is limited to 140kg total and must be set up indoors only.

Keep all children away from power cords and blowers. Tampering with power may result in serious injury and legal liability.

Do not change or move any backdrops or floral set ups once installed
4. Setup and Location Requirements

Setup areas must be flat, clean, dry, and clear before our arrival.
-
We do not set up on sand, gravel, hills, uneven or wet surfaces, or mud.
-
Outdoor setups require dry conditions and sufficient shade during hot seasons.

Outdoor hires must have a Plan B (indoor/covered location) in case of weather issues. If not, the booking will be postponed and a credit issued.

No public park setups permitted unless discussed and have council approval.
5. DIY Pickup/Drop-Off Hires
-
DIY Hirers must arrange safe transport to prevent damage to equipment.
-
A $100 late fee applies for returns more than 30 minutes late.
-
If you choose delivery after initially opting for pickup, your bond will be forfeited.
6. Ball Pit Balls Policy
-
All ball pit balls must be returned to the pit before pick-up or return.
-
Failure to comply may result in bond deductions due to time and labor involved in re-packing.
7. Cancellations and Weather Policy
-
Cancellations must be made at least 1 month prior for a 12-month credit note.
-
Cancellations within 7 days will result in bond forfeiture and no credit issued.
-
No refunds under any circumstances, including change of mind or weather-related issues.
-
Credit notes are valid for 12 months from original booking date.
8. Liability
-
Play Baby Play is not liable for any injury, accident, or loss during the hire period.

Responsibility lies solely with the Hirer for safe use and supervision of all children and guests.
